Simple instruction:

3-4 inches of water.  A substrate like top soil with some worm castings and put the Azolla to float on top.  Keep temperatures above 65 degrees and watch it multiply. Keep the water levels at 3-4 inches, and add additional soil or worm castings over time.  Just like fertilizer, the castings and soil feed the Azolla and keep it multiplying.

So easy - so cost effective.  Every chicken owner should be growing this stuff.
